The Electro Showcase for September 2004

Offline  :: 57:21m runtime :: 78.7 MB

Coming at you live from his London studios, the September Electro Showcase features a guest mix by Odds n' Sods John Bushby. Bringin' some classic flavors along side impeccable mixing and hard balls to the wall electro, this mix is another one for the Vocode annals. Kopfnikken factor from the get go, bump this shit in your ride or on a system, cos headphone music this aint. Vocode's resident slave badger mix approval team is still trying to recover Razz

Bushby's sound has been rooted firmly in breaks for the past couple of years but recently he has found that the "nu skool" has been a touch formulaic. As such more and more electro has been creeping its way into his sets, {editor - as evidenced by his solid contribution to Vocode's September Electro Showcase, it's more of a full on assualt by bass robots than sneaky creepin; }

His recent promo mixes have been receiving good reactions from listeners as have his solo and back 2 back (with Neil M as dead|badger) live sets broadcast on Coming soon is the launch of Identify, a new night he is starting with fellow odds.n.sods Dan Cramer and Neil M. Along with his friends Neil and Dan, John is one third of ODDS.N.SODS and half of the infamous dead|badger with Neil Mallory. For more info check
